Why do I need to wear a Juski mask?

We know it can be a little inconvenient to put on a mask whenever you go out but considering the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, the illness in communities across the country is widespread. Therefore, we recommend you to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth in the community setting to stay away from getting infected.

When do I need to wear a Juski mask?

It is best if you wear the mask whenever you are likely to be exposed to community settings, especially in situations where being near people is unavoidable, eg, grocery stores, pharmacies etc. But we should also keep in mind that these face coverings are not a substitute for social distancing.

Do I still need to stay six feet away from people if wearing a Juski Face Mask?

You may hate the answer, but yes, wearing your mask is an additional protection that will reduce the likeliness of getting infected. Along with protection, the mask can help you prevent the spread of the virus from yourself to others. This would be especially important if someone is infected but does not have the symptoms.

How should I wash this mask?

We believe you wonÃt microwave the mask or machine wash it. Machine drying and washing in boiling water should also be avoided to retain the function of the filters. You should handwash the mask. Gently massage it with warm soapy water, rinse gently and leave to hang dry and that should be enough.

Shouldn't only sick people wear mask?

No, you should still wear the mask because being infected with COVID-19 can be asymptomatic, and hence, not wearing a mask can pose a threat to others. A few recent studies also show that nearly half of patients are infected by people who do not themselves have symptoms Â thus they aren't even coughing or sneezing yet, but they can spread the disease just by talking in close proximity to someone else. So, don't wait for symptoms and wear the mask!

Will facial hair affect the comfort of a person?

We don't blame you for this. Having facial hair is natural and can lead to discomfort while wearing a mask but a moderate facial hair growth will not affect the comfort of the mask.

What is the correct way to wear a mask?

This question may not make sense to you but the answer here really matters! The correct way is to always wash your hands with soap or an alcohol-based sanitizer before touching the mask. After that, use the ear loops to hold the mask and place the concave side over the mouth and the nose, adjust it properly on the nose bridge to avoid any leakages and you're good to go!

Is the Juski mask as good as N95 masks?

We were waiting to answer this! This mask does not block the coronavirus 100% but reduces the probability of getting infected considerably along with extreme comfort. Juski mask is a cloth-based mask with anti-microbial lining which is reusable and washable up to 50 times. We use a triple layer filtration which is a composite of spun bond and melt-blown non-woven material that does all the work in blocking particulates and microbes that are up to 0.3micron and 2.5micron in size with 97.2% and 99.8% efficiency respectively.

After 50 washes can the mask still be used?

By the time you get bored by the design, our mask would still be in perfect condition to be used. It can be used up to 50 washes and post that, the filtration loses its efficiency but otherwise you can keep on using until the mask wears off. It will still be able to block dust particles and smoke, but will not remain efficient enough to block microbes and other tiny particulates.

Don't worry, your face size is also taken care of. Juski masks come in three sizes exclusively designed for kids, men and women. It is engineered to provide a snug fit and adjustable ear loops have a unique toggle & lock feature and hence can be adjusted as per oneÃs comfort level.
